02-06-2018 Kamperland - Deel hotel ontruimd bij brand in liftschacht (00021)
(02-06-2018) Kamperland - Zaterdagmorgen zijn twee verdiepingen van een hotel ontruimd nadat er een brand was uitgebroken in de liftschacht van het hotel. Rond 10:40 uur brak de brand uit waarop het blusvoertuig van Kamperland met spoed ter plaatse werd gestuurd. Al snel werd er opgeschaald naar middelbrand waarop ook de blusvoertuigen van Serooskerke en Oostkapelle en vanuit Middelburg de ladderwagen met spoed naar het hotel aan de Patrijzenlaan gestuurd. De brand ging gepaard met veel rook en stank waarop is besloten om de twee verdiepingen te ontruimen. Nadat de brand geblust was heeft de brandweer het hotel geventileerd. Rond 11:10 uur kon het sein brandmeester worden gegeven.
