(24-09-2016) Vlissingen - Zaterdagmorgen heeft een grote uitslaande brand een schuur in de as gelegd. Rond 10:25 uur werd de brand opgemerkt aan de Gerbrandystraat in Vlissingen. Drie blusvoertuigen, een hoogwerker, een waterwagen en het Snel Interventievoertuig (SIV) van Koudekerke kwamen ter plaatse. Toen de brandweer ter plaatse kwam was de brand al in het dak uitslaand. De brandweer heeft kunnen voorkomen dat de brand oversloeg naar de woning. De schuur is door de brand volledig verwoest. Tijdens de brand was de Gerbrandystraat voor al het verkeer afgesloten.
